Reg plot
"A father's fight for truth and justice"
In 2003, Private Tom Keys is killed in Iraq. His parents, Reg and Sally, learn that Tom and his colleagues were insufficiently armed and equipped. Stress causes Sally to drink alcohol and eventually succumb to it. Reg, convinced that Prime Minister Tony Blair started an unnecessary and illegal war, goes into politics with a counter-candidacy in mind. Reg is supported by a number of celebrities such as Martin Bell, Frederick Forsyth and journalist Felicity Arbuthnot, but he still loses to Blair. However, he does not leave it at that and decides to set up the lobby group 'families against the war'. A lawsuit is being prepared with other relatives at the International Criminal Court to demonstrate that the British military leadership has seriously failed in the incident.
