Red Runs the River plot

The American Civil War. There are two wars going on: one in the heart of General Richard Ewell and the other on the battlefields. The deeply religious General Stonewall Jackson wants to influence the godliness of the profane and infidel Ewell by sending him to the battlefield. On the battlefield, Ewell has an encounter with God, through which he learns that the only real victory is faith.
