Racing Daylight plot

Told as three short films, 'Racing Daylight' is the story of Sadie Stokes (Melissa Leo) who has returned to the family farm to nurse her declining grandmother (Leclanche Durand). There have always been scions of the Stokes family in Cedarsville. Sadie and grandmother are the last. Sadie's life has been pretty drab so far. Until one day a man appears in the mirror, addresses her by her mother's name "Anna" and then suddenly disappears again. Meanwhile, as Sadie increasingly takes on the characteristics of her ancestor, Anna Stokes, she realizes that they both really want the same thing. They both want Henry (David Strathairn), the quirky handyman-cum-Civil War addict. Only Anna thinks Henry is her long-lost Harry.
