Quattro Notti con Alba plot
During the Italian army's retreat into Libya, a small troop is cut off from their battalion. Along the way, Lieutenant Fassi takes a girl who escaped an air raid and who he believes is a nurse. The arrival of the young woman leads to some discipline problems among his people. However, he continues to respect her even when he discovers that she is in reality a prostitute. He loves her more and more and is heartbroken when they have to split up on arrival at base...
