"We all have two lives: the one we dream of and the one we live."

The film is about the strange friendship between two men from different social classes. Miguel is a senator and his childhood friend Jorge is a major drug dealer. In the 1970s they meet again in prison. Miguel ends up there for political reasons, Jorge for his drug trade.
