Prodigal Daughters plot
"THE SEVEN DEADLY WHIMS"
Swifty Forbes (Gloria Swanson) and her sister Marjory (Vera Reynolds) lead a rather frivolous lifestyle, much to the chagrin of their parents. For their father, it's enough when Swifty chooses the golf course over the church on a Sunday. The girls move out and Swifty finds an apartment in Bohemian Greenwich Village. Meanwhile, Marjory marries a jazz songwriter who soon dumps her again. Because their father can no longer support them financially, Swifty is forced to take a job, where she has to fend off a pushy manager.
