Prisoner of Honor plot
"As the battle raged, one man fought alone"
In 1894, Captain Dreyfus (Kenneth Colley) is accused of selling military secrets to the German military attaché in Paris. In 1895 he is sentenced to life on Devil's Island, which is equivalent to the death penalty. Colonel Picquart (Richard Dreyfuss), the head of the Military Intelligence Service, investigates the legal proceedings and is bitterly forced to conclude that Picquart is innocent and that the French military top is guilty of anti-Semitism, putting the entire army in disrepute.
