Préférence plot

After ten years in prison for a murder of passion, Max is released. He meets Lila, a married woman, whom he falls in love with. Soon they begin an intense relationship, but it is doomed to fail. A little later, Max goes to visit his brother, but because of this, the conflicts they have had in the past resurface. Max wants an answer to a number of questions that he has been asking himself for many years. Will this make the present as difficult for the two brothers as their past?
