Pond Life plot
It's the summer of 1994 in a quiet South Yorkshire village. Trevor is fishing along the water's edge, hoping to catch a carp. Pogo, an outcast, walks through the village while recording sound clips. Malcolm tries in vain to woo Cassie, and his best friends Shane and David saunter through the village with nothing better to do. When it's rumored that Nessie, a giant carp, is swimming in the nearby lake, Trevor brings all the kids together.
