Podarok Stalinu plot

Kazakhstan, 1949. Minorities are forced to move to Central Asia by the government in the Soviet Union. Sashka is a Jewish boy who is deported by train with his grandfather. His grandfather dies during the train journey and he is kicked out of the train with the corpse. He ends up in a peaceful village where he finds shelter with the old Kasym. However, the village also has a hard time.
