"Beyond boundries"

Punjab (India), 1947. The Indian province of Punjab is about to be divided into a mainly Muslim part (Pakistan) and a mainly Hindu part (India). While there is an extremely tense and incendiary atmosphere between the two communities in this regard, the young Hindu woman Puro, who is preparing to be engaged to Ramchand, is kidnapped because of an old family feud by the Muslim Rachid, who promptly falls in love with his hostage… Based on a book by Amrita Pritam.
