Piedra Sola plot

In the Puna, the northern highlands of Argentina, at an altitude of about four thousand meters and close to the border with Bolivia, lies the hamlet of Condor, where a llama herder lives with his family. The shepherd and his son sell llama meat and wool in the nearest town, a long journey on foot and by bus. When a cougar threatens the herd, the shepherd tries to find the predator. According to local customs, he has to offer the animal a sacrifice.
