Petites Misères plot

Jean is a bailiff. He takes his job very seriously, although he occasionally dares to infringe on the 'deontology' of this underestimated job. Jean is also the husband of Nicole, a beautiful brunette, who suffers from compulsive depression and sudden shopping attacks, which she indulges in the company of Georges, her lover. Georges himself is incessantly in debt, is addicted to teleshopping and is sometimes guilty of scheming with Jean. When Jean is sent out with Eddy, an inept and pitiful police officer, who is tasked with accompanying Jean through the repossessions, Jean's life becomes a nightmare.
