Pasado el Meridiano plot

Augusto, an elevator operator at an advertising agency, discovers that his mother has died. A long day of worry ensues as he tries to get permission to go to the funeral, but is forced to continue helping in the office. When he finally arrives in his mother's village, the funeral is over. On the way back, he is offered a lift in exchange for pushing a car. He helps, but is left alone. The memories of a brief romance with a girlfriend, which he falls into the hands of a gang of rapists, continue to haunt him.
