Vincent plot
Vincent is a 19-year-old ecologist who drives his family crazy with his efforts to make them more aware of nature. Vincent's French aunt Nikki takes him on a trip to France. She is convinced that Vincent's obsession is related to his suffocating mother. On the way, however, Vincent turns out to have more up his sleeve than Nikki can handle.

A kind of Belgian version of Little Miss Sunshine (which is one of my favorite movies). Nice movie with crazy characters in which dramatic and comic parts alternate.

Delightfully cheeky dialogues and wording, absurd situations - of which I only remember the funny ones - in this crazy film with the adventures of the equally crazy Vanginderachter family... and spiced with typical, humorous but prickly French-Belgian sneering.
Barbara Sarafian is excellent in her role, but Alexandra Lamy's performance is also certainly successful.

Lovely movie!
After his fine but unremarkable Lena (2011), Christophe Van Rompaey returns to his tragicomedy roots with a kind of Aanrijding in Moscou (2008) in the superlative.
Smooth plot, strong script, overall fine acting (Barbara Sarafian is great again) and beautifully shot.
The subject: a 17 year old vegan with suicidal tendencies. I think it shows courage to want to make a comedy about that. Through a respectful approach and a balanced mix of social Drama and Comedy, the director succeeds wonderfully. Thumbs up!
