Paruthi Veeran plot
Paruthiveeran, a low-caste criminal, once saved the life of his beloved niece and childhood sweetheart Muthazhagu, who belongs to the high Thevar caste, as a child. Though he is a despicable, stubborn man whose only dream is to end up in jail so that his picture will appear in the newspaper, Muthazhagu remains obsessively devoted to him. When he realizes that he loves her too and asks her to marry him, they decide to run away because of their caste differences and get married in secret.
