Outside In plot
Dwoskin is paralyzed in both legs due to polio. Here he made a self-portrait in the form of a diary in which the disabled person's frustrations, musings, fears and dreams are reflected. He leafs through his diary, ticks off passages, jokes about many everyday situations and holds up an ironic mirror to society. He struggles with a swivel chair and rummages around with a bedspread to cuddle up next to his girlfriend. He is at odds with the interior of a restaurant or a cinema and finds an elevator in a building that is only accessible to senior management... Dwoskin shatters the myth that sees the disabled as a helpless wretch.
