"Family Life Isn't Always Sunshine and Rainbows"
Beksiński is a gentle man with a fear of spiders. He indulges in extreme sexual fantasies and has a penchant for painting disturbing, dystopian works. He is a family man who wants the best for his loving wife Zofia, his neurotic son Tomasz, his mother and his mother-in-law. His daily painting to classical music pays off in the end, because he is making a name for himself in the contemporary art world. Zofia tries to keep the family together, but Tomasz regularly has violent outbursts and threatens suicide. Much to their relief, he starts dating women, becomes a radio host and a film translator. Still, the parents keep an eye on him to prevent their son from harming himself.
