"Sometimes the wrong choice happens to be the only choice ..."

Randy (Simon Baker), a teenager living with an adoptive family on a reservation in Prince Rupert, arrives in Vancouver looking for his older sister, Angel (Alex Rice). Angel ran away from the reservation five years ago, and Randy finds her in the filthy Pennsylvania Hotel, where she maintains her heroin addiction by working as a prostitute. Angel does his best to convince Randy to come home, but is soon seduced by the easy money on the street and falls in love with Angel's best friend, Stacey (Katherine Isabelle). Her brother's arrival forces Angel to rethink her life, while Randy becomes increasingly dependent on street life and drugs.
