"Even as love crowns you, so shall it crucify you"
The film contains various stories of young people. The owner of a coffee shop finds out she's pregnant. A girl who works at the local bookstore decides to say goodbye once and for all to her dying father, who has abused her for years. A 14-year-old boy carries the entire weight of the world on his shoulders as he walks around asking what he would be like as a parent to his child. A 23-year-old man is told that he cannot invite his boyfriend, who he has been with for six years, to a birthday dinner. And a 17-year-old boy, looking for more in life than the tedious household he's part of, tries to get his estranged group of friends back together.
