O Vasilias plot
Vangelis, a former drug addict in his mid-thirties who longs for redemption and a big change in his life, has arrived in a faceless and cruel Athens after five long years of detention. Forced almost to his knees, his only way out in his grandfather's run-down estate lies somewhere in a godforsaken Peloponnesian village. Here, however, Vangelis, as an outsider, is also treated as a pariah. He will soon have to face the unwritten laws of the closed society, as a bubbling tension threatens to boil over.
