Metro driver Juvenal leads a secluded life, his house – empty and bare – seems to reflect his emotional state. His life consists of working and staring at home; when he is thirsty, he drinks water from the tap, from the only glass he possesses. Is he surprised that the lively stationmaster Margô chooses him as a witness to her upcoming wedding? He doesn't show it. Meanwhile, Margô chats solitary on the internet and keeps an obsessive eye on Juvenal via the surveillance cameras on the track.
