O Ergenis plot

Thodoros is an ordinary married Greek man in Athens who works at a bank. After his wife mysteriously disappears one day, he discovers that she has become a luxury prostitute for wealthy foreigners. Her pimp, Juan, asks Thodoros to come and work for him. From that moment on, his life goes into a downward spiral of isolation and self-destruction and he is no longer able to deal with this absurd situation rationally.
