Nora and Héctor are married, crazy about each other and brilliant physicists. They have been working on a time machine for years - a project that no one believes in, except themselves. Until the device suddenly catches on. They suddenly end up in the year 2025 from 1966. Nora sees a future in which her knowledge is finally taken seriously and she blossoms. Héctor, on the other hand, feels completely lost in a world full of smartphones, gender roles and algorithms. This causes their once stable marriage to falter.

If there is a movie about time travel I have to see it because it is one of my favorite SF themes. And since I study Spanish for four years, I kill two birds with one stone. So Mexican Spanish is a lot easier to understand than Spanish from Spain.

As for the film, it is a simple elaborated love story. Also simple acting. No special effects, no time paradoxes and apart from the story not really a SF film… The only thing that is SF, is the time travel.

And as far as a love story goes, it didn't really touch me either.

Furthermore, the film is set in the present and the final plot is a bit rushed and again simply developed.

If you are looking for something to improve your Spanish this is ideal. If you are looking for a SF film or a well-developed time travel film you will be disappointed. Ditto if you are looking for a gripping love story.
