Notte di Stelle plot

Lucio is a social worker who wants to make a difference in the lives of those he considers disadvantaged and destitute. He casts a poor girl as a singer in an arthouse film, as well as a drug-addicted ex-con. Initially this makes him feel good, but when he starts to have romantic feelings for the girl, he becomes annoyed by her inability to get herself on track. At the same time, the junkie withdraws completely from human society.
