Nothing Grows on Salt plot

Deep underground, in a dark medieval world, Mabelia serves her queen. Day after day, she loses herself in labor and obedience, clinging to an inner, above-ground world that protects her from an unspoken past. Her memories have been erased, her origins concealed.
