"The wonderful story of an eternal love"
Leopoldo works as a film operator in the dilapidated cinema he inherited from his father. Business is going bad and bankruptcy is imminent. Leopoldo is married to Susana and is more concerned with an invention of a rapidly rotating cylinder, on which you see moving images, than with his theatre. His friend Oscar is an invalid aviator in a wheelchair who is busy inventing a robot. When Leopoldo shows Oscar his Zoetrope, a beautiful woman comes to life in it.
