This is the story of Salva (Jordi Mollà), a humble boy from the suburbs. He often hangs out in the metro station with his friend Angel (Carlos Vellido). The line, "It's sad to ask, but sadder to steal" no longer works for them. And spurred on by television programs in which stealing always seems very easy, they decide to give it a try themselves. Unfortunately, that fails and they are caught. In order to receive their sentence, they must appear in a national television program, in which the audience can decide whether they are guilty and whether they deserve the death penalty.
