"Your morals don't survive intense deprivation. None of them."
Eight years after a disaster and the outbreak of a disease, humanity has largely been wiped out. Only one in ten people is still alive. All animals have now been eaten and sowing is not possible. Two different groups live on a deserted piece of land. The first group consists of feral children who lead a nomadic lifestyle. The second group consists of adults. Unlike the children, they can hardly survive.
