Nakom plot
Iddrisu enjoys life in the city of Kumasi. He is popular, has a sympathetic lover and is doing well in his medical studies. He learns from his sister Damata that his father has died. He has to return to his native village Nakom. He hadn't spoken his native language for a long time and he has difficulty with the fact that the men are in charge. As the eldest son, he feels responsible for his reckless father's debts. Iddrisu decides to stay for a while and work hard. Slowly he feels at home again in that small community. He realizes that his education and experience are necessary for the village. The village chief also sees possibilities for the future. Iddrisu faces a devastating choice…
