Naked plot
"When unbalance leads to submission"
Johnny is the ultimate anti-hero of the 1990s; cold, cynical and immoral, but loving and passionate at other times. He has come from Manchester to visit a former girlfriend, Louise. He has no other goal. After a short time, Johnny flees the house because he is feeling short of breath from Sophie, Louise's roommate. In the streets of London he addresses people to force himself on them without them noticing. He harasss men with well-considered philosophical expositions, he sexually harasss or flees women after having captured them.

This was really quite enjoyable. An annoying little man who makes life miserable for everyone around him with pseudo-intellectual philosophical theories. Every moment of the film you want to give him a slap so that he keeps his mouth shut. But somewhere as a viewer you also know that he keeps his face closed for nothing or no one.
David Thewlis is an excellent actor. The way he pronounces the sentences, he seems to sing now and then, he really gets the blood from under your nails.
Thewlis smokes himself to smithereens and his display alone makes me feel like I'm becoming a cancer patient. I really enjoyed his provocative, haunting attitude, and then all that philosophical gibberish… delicious! Yes, this is one of those films that will leave long memories somewhere in my memory that you will look back on with a smile.

A film fully supported by David Thewlis, who may be playing the part of his life here. An anything but sympathetic character who Johnny with his foul-mouthed and disrespectful attitude and discourse with the potted intellectual whining.
In addition, an atmospheric film with gloomy streets and spaces that radiated ugliness. Great soundtrack with some great scenes. Amusing and irritating at the same time is that Johnny.
Still, I wasn't completely captivated by the film, despite Thewlis and his philosophical twaddle.
