Mosquita y Mari plot
When Yolanda first meets her new girl next door Mari, all she sees is their differences. As the only child of immigrant parents, Yolanda's only concern is getting good grades; for her, realizing the American Dream seems only a matter of time. The 'streetwise' Mari has to help her illegal family to keep her head above water. They become closer and closer, but their bond turns out to be more complicated than expected.
