Cloudburst plot
Dot and Stella are a remarkable lesbian couple. They have been together for 31 years and have been there for each other through good and bad. Now in their seventies, Stella is hard of hearing and Dot is practically blind. Dott's prudish granddaughter, Molly, decides that the best place for Dot is a nursing home that will provide everything she needs. This forces Stella and Dot to make a bold decision: they will leave their hometown and head for Canada, where same-sex marriage is legal. Along the way we take a young hitchhiker, Prentice.
