Mon Cher Sujet plot

Agnès, aged forty, is the mother of Angèle, aged twenty, and the daughter of Odile, aged seventy. The three women share a certain pain towards life. Odile has reached the age of loneliness. She takes care of her father, who is about to breathe his last, and at the same time tries to re-establish contact with her daughter. But Agnès demands her independence.
