Mom's on Strike plot

Pam Harris gets up at 6 a.m. every morning to walk the dog and prepare breakfast and packed lunches for her husband and her 3 children. She then takes the children to school before starting her own day job. One day she drives past a group of striking janitors. She explains to her children that people go on strike not only to make their wage demands clear, but also because they hope to gain more respect and appreciation for their work. Exhausted and frustrated by her husband and children, who find her presence and work evident, Pam decides to go on strike as well. The family thinks nothing better than to call on Grandmother Betty. When Pam's story appears in the local paper a few days later, the fence is all over…
