Mistress Pamela plot

In the eighteenth century, Pamela Andrews (Ann Michelle) is a maid in the household of Lord Robert Devenish (Julian Barnes), who is a landowner. After her mother's death, she must fight off her young master's unwanted and inappropriate sexual temptations. For this gentleman is determined to have Pamela as his mistress. This film is loosely based on Samuel Richardson's novel "Pamela; or, Virtue Rewarded".
