Miss Entebbe plot

Israel 1976. Thirteen-year-old Noa's neighbor is on a plane that is hijacked by Palestinian terrorists. Noa and her friends come up with a plan of their own to free the hostages. They steal a machine gun and kidnap a Palestinian boy. Things soon escalate. The boy's father searches everywhere with his Jewish friends and to Noa's confusion the boy turns out to be very nice.
