Mindanao plot
Mindanao tells the story of the Muslim woman Saima Datupalo. She takes care of her cancer-stricken daughter, Aisa, who lives in a temporary home for children with cancer called the 'House of Hope in Davao'. Meanwhile, Saima's husband Malang, an army medic, is on an offensive operation in Maguindanao.
