Meu Pé de Laranja Lima plot
Zezé Vasconcelos is 7 years old and the fourth of five children in a working-class family. It is a low-educated family, but Zezé is different, he knows the art of storytelling. Però, on the other hand, is a teaser. Nothing gives him more pleasure than dedicating the whole neighborhood to his jokes. Zezé has a good heart, but he has no friends and is often beaten. But things get even worse when his father loses his job, leaving food in short supply in the family. As a result, his father becomes increasingly frustrated and he beats Zezé more and more. He seeks refuge in a fantasy world to forget the violence.
