Mesto na Zemle plot
In the aftermath of the Soviet regime, a number of people voluntarily choose to live on the fringes of society and, led by a charismatic figure, occupy a dilapidated bourgeois house. However, the 'hippie community' has to cope with scarcity, individualistic tendencies and police depression. But there is a big difference between those who live on the margins of society and those who are forced to do so. Maria, a young, sick wanderer at the end of her powers belongs to the latter category. Although included in the commune, she observes the doings of the others in a distant way. But after a police intervention, everyone is thrown out on the street and plunged into a miserable daily reality.
