Baron von Gaigern is ordered by an international thieves syndicate to steal the precious pearl necklace of the famous dancer Grusinskaja, but the star returns earlier than expected. As a result, Von Gaigern manages to prevent Grusinskaja from committing suicide and wins her heart en passant. He decides to give her the necklace back, but now he needs money...
