Meeresleuchten plot
An airline organizes a funeral service for the victims of a plane crash. Thomas Wintersperger and his wife Sonja also participate to say goodbye to their daughter Anna. To stay close to the scene of the accident, Thomas buys a nearby dilapidated building and converts it into a cafe. His wife is not won over to the plan and their ways part. Dealing with the local residents helps Michael come to terms with his grief.
