On November 8, 2016, the Government of India announces the demonetization of all £500 and £1,000 banknotes of the Mahatma Gandhi series. The government also announces the issuance of new £500 and £2,000 banknotes in exchange for the demonetized notes. An honest cop, a con man and a hopeless romantic make an unusual team during these days. They want to light things up; it's a scam bigger than the demonetization, but things are completely out of whack.
