Hakan is recovering from post-traumatic stress disorder with the help of Ayla, a nurse at the military hospital where he is staying. With a medal of honor in his pocket, he is fired, but once back in his old flat, the ex-soldier threatens to engulf his memories. After a meeting with his daughter and an unexpected visit from Ayla, Hakan seeks out his former maidservant. Can the confrontation help Hakan come to grips with the events of that dramatic winter night?
