Marie Grubbe plot

The wild and untamed noblewoman Marie Grubbe grows up with her father Erik in Tjele on Jutland. Erik shares his life with a farmer's wife named Ane, who hates Marie. To end the battle between them, Erik decides to take Marie to Base Rigitze in Copenhagen. She will prepare her for a life at the court of the king.
