Marie et le Loup plot

Marie lives with her daughter in a small town in France. At the fair, during a ride in the haunted house, she sees a man having sex with a woman. Marie's eyes meet the man's. On the way home, Marie notices that the man is chasing her. She is strangely attracted to him and offers him to spend the night with her. The next day she hears from her ex-husband, who works for the police, that the man is the prime suspect in the murder of a young woman. Marie believes in the stranger's innocence and protects him. But he begins to behave more and more strangely towards Marie.
