Mama plot
The life of interior caretaker Dong-sook revolves around her son, who can't walk because of Duchenne's disease. When one day she is diagnosed with cancer, her world collapses. After all, who will later take care of her child in need? The now married Eun-sung has struggled all her life under the domination of her mother, a successful singer, who treats her much more like her servant than her daughter. Eun-sung also wanted to become a singer, but that never happened due to her egocentric mother. The dreaded, tough-as-nails mafia leader Seung-chul undergoes a complete makeover when he visits his mother. He is at his wits' end when his mother refuses to undergo a mastectomy after being diagnosed with breast cancer. To make things even easier, his mother also has a very remarkable wish: she wants to meet her first, never-forgotten love from her teenage years again.
