"Sometimes, the most valuable mentor has the worst first impression."
Il-Han Yoo is an ambitious young musical director who takes charge of a musical project. Through auditions, they try to find someone for the role of King Jungjo. Il-Han chooses Young-Kwang without seeing him, but only by listening. He is surprised to find out that young-Kwang is a Filipino-Korean boy and that he turns out to be a great musical talent. At first he uses the boy for his own purposes, but he repents later as he gets to know the boy and his background better.
