Lucretia Lombard plot
Lucretia Morgan thinks her life will get better if she marries wealthy Allen Lombard. However, he turns out to be a drug addict who leads a sinister lifestyle. After several years of unhappily married life, he dies in an overdose. She then falls in love with lawyer Stephen Winship. He also falls for her charms, but his father would rather see him marry Mimi Winship.
