Love's Harvest plot

After the death of her stepfather, custody of Jane Day is transferred to his wealthy young cousin Jim Atherton. Jane becomes so upset that she flees to town with her dog Buddie. There she befriends theater producer Allen Hamilton who, after discovering Jane's natural musical skills, offers to send her to Paris to study.
